Of course, it wasn't all "Flashdance" and "Bette Davis Eyes" which LGCSF aptly demonstrates as they eviscerate love songs of a certain decadent decade."If memory doesn't serve well enough, we also have high school photos, television shows, movies and music from the 80s to remind us that this decade was severely twistedand in this show we add a few more turns of our own," said William "Billy" Sauerland, Artistic and Music Director of LGCSF. "This is really an opportunity to allow the chorus to let their hair down, or in this case tease it out and spray it up." Bitter love songs, rock ballads, and choral medleys capture the musical contributions of Jon Bon Jovi, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cindy Lauper and many other great artists of the age. In collaboration with long-time LGCSF friend Michael Mohammed, the fully-choreographed chorus tribute to Michael Jackson will bring down the house.
